The 1% Must Be Running Scared

Looks like a Marxist has just been elected mayor of New York.  At least according to the New York Post.

de Blasio at one time consorted with the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, you see.  Who is more hated then gays, atheists, blacks, Latinos, workers, welfare mothers, child molesters?  Evidently in the home of 4 of the top 10 richest zip codes in Amerika, Manhattan - socialists.

Of course, de Blasio has offered a class narrative about New York.  The odds that he will follow through on it are very low, much as Obama promised to be a progressive and turned into a rightist moderate.

On a more depressing note, it looks like Ty Moore has lost his bid to be council person for the 9th Ward, though final results are not in.  In an interesting development, the police raided the home of a person in foreclosure ON THE DAY OF THE ELECTION in order to disrupt the 'get out the vote' effort of the socialist Moore campaign.  Activists in Occupy Homes, including Moore and others from the campaign, went out to meet the police, and when the police left, forced people from the Realty company to leave, and got the individual back into her home.  So it seems the Latina Democrat was elected with the help of the Minneapolis police and the National Association of Realtors.  And evidently a very slim majority of the voters of the 9th ward voted for ethnicity and Party loyalty over class.

P.S. - 11/16, a socialist and former Occupy activist candidate for the city counsel in Seattle, WA, Kshama Savant, has just been elected on a city-wide vote!
